Upcoming film 'Panch Pandav' releases promotional song
The upcoming social drama 'Panch Pandav,' featuring Hari Bansha Acharya, has released its first song ahead of its November 6, 2026, theatrical debut.
The production team behind the upcoming Nepali film 'Panch Pandav' has released its first song, 'Daju Bhai Jasta Hudainan Aru,' ahead of the film's scheduled release on Friday, November 6, 2026. According to reports from Baahrakhari, Setopati and Onlinekhabar, the song carries vocals by Satyaraj Acharya and Sworupraj Acharya, with music by Arjun Pokharel and lyrics by Dr. Krishna Hari Baral.
The music video centres on brotherhood, unity and mutual support. It shows the character Yudhishthira, played by Hari Bansha Acharya, coming down from heaven to the mortal world after learning that his brothers are in trouble. Setopati reported that the song conveys the idea that brothers are each other's most dependable support in good times and bad.
The film is directed by Basanta Niraula. Besides Hari Bansha Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi and Sushil Sitaula play the five Pandavas. The cast also includes Deepashree Niraula, Sarita Giri, Binod Neupane, Rama Thapalia, Prashant Tamrakar and Iva Giri, who plays Draupadi, according to Onlinekhabar. Sushil Poudel wrote the story, screenplay and dialogue.
Onlinekhabar reported that the film is being made under the Kali Rani Films banner, with Nabin Shrestha as presenter and Kali Rani Shrestha as producer. Poudel told the outlet that it is a social drama that draws on the characters and symbols of the Mahabharata's five Pandavas to tell a story of present-day Nepali society.
Niraula said the film will be a special one in Acharya's career and that he expects it to be another hit for the actor this year, Onlinekhabar reported. Acharya's lead role in 'Haribahadurko Jutta,' released during last year's Dashain, was a box-office hit, the outlet said. It listed Shyam Tamang as cinematographer, Suprim Parajuli as editor, and Gambhir Bista and Bikram Swar as choreographers.
A second song from the film, 'Raja Chahiya Cha,' came out on Friday, October 30, Onlinekhabar reported. Its video features a dance by Iva Giri, joined by Acharya, Tripathi, Nepal and Neupane, and the music is again by Arjun Pokharel.
