The Patan High Court on Thursday upheld a Lalitpur District Court order keeping TikToker Tulsa Adhikari, operator of Tulsa Collection, in custody while she is tried. A joint bench of judges Khadka Bahadur KC and Keshav Prasad Adhikari found that the district court's June 4, 2026 order was not improper. Adhikari was arrested in Thailand with Interpol's help on May 31, 2026, and brought to Nepal.
Prosecutors have charged her with organised crime, criminal gain (extortion) and money laundering offences and are seeking about Rs 211.22 million from her; she is accused of drawing a man into a "honey trap" for financial gain. She has been charged, not convicted, and the charges have yet to be tried.
