Standard Chartered Bank Nepal announces 16 percent cash dividend
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal has proposed a 16 percent cash dividend for shareholders, pending approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and its annual general meeting.
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has declared a cash dividend for its shareholders from the previous fiscal year's profits. According to Lokpath, Onlinekhabar and Setopati, the bank's board of directors decided at a meeting on Monday, October 26, 2026, to distribute a cash dividend of 16 percent of paid-up capital.
The figure is inclusive of tax, Setopati and Lokpath reported. The bank said the dividend will be distributed only after Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank, approves it and shareholders pass it at the bank's upcoming annual general meeting.
The bank has not yet fixed a date for that meeting, according to Onlinekhabar. This year's payout is lower than last year's, when the bank distributed a 19 percent cash dividend.
