The Morang Industrial Organization has scheduled the ninth edition of the Virat Expo for December 17 to 26, 2026, at the Degree Campus in Biratnagar-14. Operating under the theme "The Ecosystem of Opportunities," the event aims to function as a comprehensive hub for industry, education, and investment. Organizers intend to connect entrepreneurs, students, and established industrial players to address market needs, including skilled labor demands and startup capital requirements.
The ten-day exhibition will feature over 275 stalls across sectors such as agriculture, automobiles, and small-scale enterprises. Key initiatives include the "Learn for the Future" program, which offers career guidance in fields like industrial automation and health, and a dedicated pavilion for startup boot camps and workshops. Concurrently, the Virat Business Summit 2026 will host representatives from all 14 districts of Koshi Province to discuss regional economic potential. Organizers anticipate attracting 250,000 visitors and facilitating 1,500 business matchmaking sessions alongside 2,000 potential employment connections.
